About Me

Born in Pune, India, and raised in Doha, Qatar, Yassir currently resides in Doha. Coming from a strong science and mathematics background, he completed his higher education in PCM(Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with a focus on Information Practices(Java, SQL,etc). Recently, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (B.Tech CSE) from MITWPU, Pune. Yassir is an aspiring Data Scientist and AI-ML Engineer, passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights and intelligent solutions. With solid analytical skills and expertise in Python, SQL, and Java, he specializes in exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and developing machine learning models.He is also exploring and learning about GenAI and agentic AI and has worked on many freelance projects in AI.

Apart from technology, Yassir is deeply interested in Physiology and Psychology, learning about how humans function, why we behave the way we do, Psycho-Nutrition, and other related topics. In his free time, he enjoys reading books and articles on these subjects or on ML/AI, enhancing his coding skills, working out, or playing football.

Liveness Detector

The model performs facial recognition to verify whether a detected face is 'real' or 'fake/spoofed.' Additionally, I conducted Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and data analysis to filter relevant data and evaluated the model's accuracy. .

Forecasting Market Trends for Gemstones

Performed gemstone price prediction by conducting data analysis and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, and implemented various machine learning models (Linear Regression, KNN, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting) using scikit-learn for accurate price forecasting.

Intrusion Detection System with Honeypots(Capstone Project)

Developed a user-friendly Automatic Intrusion Door Security System using Raspberry Pi, IoT, and CNN-based facial recognition, integrating real-time notifications via Telegram Cloud to alert users of intruder faces—completed as my final year capstone project for B.Tech CSE.
